A Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.) is an independent educational organization that, while functionally separate from PMI®, has met its rigorous standards for project management education. PMI-REP®s are organizations that have been approved by PMI® to offer training in project management and issue professional development units (PDUs) to meet the continuing education requirements needed by PMI® credential holders. To earn the R.E.P. designation, a provider must meet or exceed rigorous standards for quality and effectiveness as defined by PMI®.

PMI® reviews instructor qualifications, educational materials and procedures for continuous improvement of course delivery techniques and accuracy in their advertising. Although it would be impossible for PMI® to guarantee the success of every R.E.P. training activity, it ensures that all organizations meet the established criteria at the time of their review. All R.E.P.s are reviewed every three years.

Similar to PMP® or PgMP®, the PfMP® credential is valid for 3 years. You can renew your credential by accruing 60 PDUs (Professional Development Units) and paying the renewal fee.

Over the last 20 years of conducting training programs we have noticed that, while training over the weekends with a break in between may seem convenient in the short run, fails to provide the necessary focus and seriousness to the participant's PMP® efforts. As a result, we conduct the program over 5 consecutive days so that the participants are able to appreciate the subject in its entirety and also retain the learning for the exam. Our focus is on enhancing competence and effectiveness of project practitioners and not just teaching to pass the test.
