The goal of the department is to provide the highest quality technical education in the areas of electronics and computer engineering. The field of electronics and computer engineering includes research in both computer engineering and basic and advanced electronics.<\/span><\/p>\n

The department has a history of drawing the best qualified UG students from all throughout the state. The department has top-notch facilities and resources, including knowledgeable faculty, modern labs, and a library with a large range of educational materials.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Faculty members, graduate students, and research students of the department are engaged in cutting-edge technology-related research in fields like VLSI and Embedded Systems, Communication Networks, Computer vision and Pattern Recognition, Signal Coding and Communication, Power electronics and EMI\/EMC, Multidimensional and Multimedia Signal Processing, and Optical Devices.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Additionally, the department participates in a variety of extracurricular and technical initiatives that support students’ efforts to innovate, widen their frontiers of thought, and put their ideas into practice. It also continues to have excellent relationships with businesses and R&D institutions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our Institute is one of the premier Institutes in the Marathwada region, with a rich Technical and Academic heritage. The Department was established with the aim of providing leadership in the field of Electronics & Computer Engineering.<\/p>\n

Our department abounds with innovation and creativity in teaching, learning and research. The vision of the department is to prepare qualified and technically proficient engineers to serve industry and various research organizations. This is achieved by imparting in depth theoretical knowledge through motivating lectures followed by hands-on experience in the state-of-the-art laboratories. We have well qualified faculties to nurture your research profile, having various specializations relevant for the Industry. Our faculty, PG and research students are working in research areas related to the cutting-edge technologies such as Cognitive and Software Defined Radio in Wireless Communication, VLSI and Embedded Systems, Communication Networks, Signal Coding and Communication, Robotics & Automation, IoT, ML and Artificial Intelligence. We strive to train and empower our students who will make the world a better place by using power of engineering principles, techniques, and systems.<\/p>\n

The department strives to develop long term relationships with Industries and market. Student\u2019s talents are enhanced through seminars, symposia, workshops, conferences and through its performance in the examinations and placements. They are thus provided high level \u2018Leads and Pathways\u2019 that enable them to gain access to a broad range of \u2018high potential\u2019 and \u2018hi-tech\u2019 Career Opportunities. Industry interaction is reinforced with several programs conducted with the help of industries and placement in industries that in turn ensures their placement. The objective is to provide our students with latest technical knowledge and skills through the best teaching facility, state of the art, lab experience, excellent research, and development environment.
