I cleared my PMP on Sep 18 finally after postponing it a couple of timesJ This is to formally thank you post my certification as well and to let you know that I haven’t forgotten you. You may be surprised that I did not touch PMBOK even once for my preparation. I did read one or two chapters prior to your session in April this year. I relied on Rita and the highlighted portion of SABCONS materials. However, I do agree that PMBOK should be read atleast once. I must say I was lucky or that your seasoned training really made a lot of difference.

I am now a Certified Associate in Project Managment.
The study materials provided by SABCONS had been immensely helpful. Needless to say, SriPrasad's coaching was inspirational.

I am very happy to inform that I cleared the PMP exam on 5th Dec 07 at Bangalore. I am from the Sep 3 -7 '07 batch of Professional Project Management workshop
at Infosys. When I scheduled the exam in Sep '07, I could get Dec 5 as the earliest available date. I adhered to it and prepared accordingly with sufficient time in hand.
The actual exam did not seem to be very tough. My paper did not have a lot of lengthy or situational questions. More of short but tricky questions. I got multiple questions from negotiation and conflict resolution and felt PMBoK and Rita was not sufficient for this. If one can manage to go through some material or e-learning on problem solving and negotiation then it would help. Rest nothing different.

I am glad to let you know that I cleared PMP exam yesterday. I am from the Sep 3-7 2007 batch. Immediately after acceptance of my application, I tried booking a slot and none were available in Bangalore before end of November. So I had picked up a slot in Chennai for Nov 1st. Was tempted to postpone it/ shift to Bangalore more than once but decided to stick to the original plan.
Thanks for your excellent guidance and hints regarding the exam. That really helped in being mentally ready.
The questions in PR from Sabcons are very good and helped in scoring very well in that section on PMP exam. As such, Sabcons' quizzes are the toughest and the tricky questions on actual exam (that will increase the score) have been on those lines i.e we need to know more than what is in PMBoK.
