This was my first project management training although I have been managing projects for 4+ years. The session did help me think outside my knowledge bank and helped assess my current skills. It also help enhance my confidence that I have been unknowingly practicing some of the skills presented. It definitely kicks off new thought processes that would help enhance the way I manage projects.

Namita's presentation skills are great and hope to see her presenting upcoming sessions on PM, if any.

Extremely patient, knowledgeable and dynamic instructor with the ability to relate to real life examples.

Keep it up!

Q What is the difference between "Global Project Management" and "Software Project Management"?
A

"Global Project Management" is an improvised version of "Software Project Management." The focus is more on Processes and global challenges in implementing Project Management at an enterprise level. The focus on "Software Project Management" is more on individual projects.
"Global Project Management" targets senior Project Managers, preferably PMPs."Software Project Management' targets Project Managers who have just assumed their role. "Global Project Management' is an excellent refresher course for PMPs of PMBOK Edition 2000.
