I am already using MS Project. What is the value addition that I will get by attending this course?
The course demonstrates how to manage projects effectively using MS Project. Three things are essential to learn and implement MS Project - How, Why, When.
'How' can be learned by browsing through the help files in MS Project. Our focus is on 'Why' and 'When'. One cannot really use beyond 10 -15% of the features of the tool unless certain project management concepts are clear.
Our emphasis is on the behaviour of critical Path, Hanger check, Resource leveling, Base lining, Resource pool, Web based communication, Work arounds and recommended Checks and Balances.
Senior Executives in our organization have been using MS Project for the past three years. Could you conduct a program for one day covering advanced concepts only?
The fact that they're using MS project for three years is not a guarantee they are integrating project management concepts along with the tool. They might be making the same "mistake" repeatedly!
